The power of stories is evergreen: as children, we grow up with fairy tales; as adults, we continue to seek stories that inspire, teach, or enchant us. We hope the story of Storique is one such story for you—a passion project brought to life by its founders.

Storique was founded by Max and Valentina, both AI engineers with backgrounds in technology and artificial intelligence. Over the years, they have worked on innovative projects and startups, both together and separately, and have shared their experience with other developers at conferences across Europe and North America.

How Was Storique Born?

The idea for Storique began with a personal gift. For their first wedding anniversary in 2023, Max wanted to create something special for Valentina. He wrote a book about their life: their childhoods, how they met, their shared memories, and the future they had imagined together.

What made the gift truly special were the personalized illustrations that depicted them realistically yet in a storybook-like style. The book featured them as children, their life filled with memories, and even their older selves looking back happily on a life full of success and challenges.

Even with strong technical skills, Max found it difficult to keep the illustrations consistent in style, recognizable, and artistically refined. It was especially challenging to create scenes featuring multiple people with distinct characteristics. Despite these difficulties, the book was a huge success—and it sparked a bigger question: could this kind of personalized storytelling be made accessible to everyone?

That experience led Max and Valentina to combine their expertise in artificial intelligence and build a platform that would let anyone create a similarly unique, personalized book without needing technical skills. Since then, the Storique team has worked to develop and automate the models, algorithms, and processes behind the product.

The First Book Created with Storique

The very first book made using Storique was written for a young relative. In the story, he embarks on a space adventure with his cat. As they travel through the solar system, the cat introduces him to the planets, while he fulfills his biggest dream—becoming an astronaut.

That book showed how a simple storybook could ignite a child's imagination. We sincerely hope that many more eyes will sparkle with excitement, just like his did when he first flipped through his very own book.
